HotelTonight App Broadens Its Reach to Continental Europe and More

The app of HotelTonight has quite a few announcements.HotelTonight

They are now penetrating the European side which includes hotels in Paris, Amsterdam, Nice, Dublin, Berlin and Brussels.

The app was already covering country listings in United Kingdom and Canada but this is an important step because there are other apps emerging in the market covering Europe.

The company has also added listings for Mexico City and Acapulco. And with the latest app update, it’s the internationalization isn’t just in the listings — HotelTonight has added French, German, Italian, and Spanish, so international users will get a localized view in their own language.

According to CEoSam Shank, “One of the things we hear most from HT fans is that they want us to be everywhere, localizing the app is a huge step in getting us there.”

With this update, HotelTonight is now being listed in over 70 markets. The company too has doubled in the last year and now employees approx. 80 staffers.

With a total of 3.7 million downloads so far, HotelTonight is also introducing a new feature allowing users to give each other credits for payments in the app. This seems like a nice way to encourage someone to take a trip (and to fund part of that trip), while not pinning them down to a specific location. Credits can be purchased in the app’s “HT Swag Shop,” and after you buy them, you can forward the promo code to the recipient.

If you are new to this then you should know that hotels give HotelTonight last-minute deals on their unsold rooms, with discounts up to 70%. You then book the deals easily and securely from your smartphone.

The app is available on both iOS and Android platforms for free.
