Motorola RAZR i has begun receiving the highly anticipated update to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean today.
The new firmware brings the usual slew of new features including expandable notifications, Google Now, Project Butter and Face Unlock.
Many users have reported that they can’t manage to find the update, and considering Intel-based hardware’s track record, this isn’t all too surprising. It appears as though the update is rolling out in stages. So if you don’t initially see the update, you can simply delve into Settings > About Phone > Check for updates to fetch the file manually.
This is also the case with many phones that are receiving the Jelly Bean update. It’s not coming through any carrier, but via the phone itself.
